After an initial phone consult, an in-person meeting is a good way to determine if home birth is right for your family and if we are a good fit as your care providers. Consults are scheduled at your convenience. Cost for the consult is $75.00

A Word about Cost and Insurance

I have worked with insurance for over 15 years and have been paid by several of the main insurance companies. If you have insurance, I recommend you check your Verification of Benefits. Due to the many unknowns surrounding home birth and midwifery care, it’s often best to utilize the service of insurance billers to explore your benefits. On my Resource page you will find a company who offer this service for $25.00.

Many factors contribute to the cost of midwifery care and home birth. In our practice you have access to three licensed midwives with over 60 years combined experience. Through the years we have continually added to the resources we have available. These experiences and resources are valuable and often prove their worth. Cost factors can add stress to families and I am considerate about this and willing to work with you. However, I will not sacrifice the well being of mama/baby and this is always our main concern.
